Hi, I'm Julia Hincks
Teacher, author and lover of yarn and fabric crafts. I’ve been sewing, knitting and crocheting for as long as I can remember.
I learned my crafts like many others from my mother and grandmothers and love passing these skills onto other people.
I teach sewing, dressmaking and pattern cutting classes at a number of different venues in Brighton and Hove, and the South East of the UK.
I also teach overlocker (serger) and coverstitch machine workshops at local venues.
My first book – The Overlocker Technique Manual (UK version) / The Serger’s Technique Bible (US version) was published in 2014 and is now available in English, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian.
My most recent book The Coverstitch Technique Manual was published in September 2021 and is available now.
